The four movements of the Spine

There are four movements of the spine and over the next few weeks we are going to make sure we hit all of them. In the video I have given a little demo on a couple of exercises we covered in class. Are you doing these at home? Just plant your feet firmly on the ground and keep your hips on the chair.
You may have done these exercises before, from a standing position or even on the floor, but we like to have you do them from a seated position as this is a great way to ease you into wakening up the spinal muscles without causing any strain.

Ok – so this is the last week of term….you need to phone the studio to get yourself signed up for the new term which starts on Monday October 12th.
We will continue to work on the spine over the next few weeks and you really do not want to miss this. It will really help you get your dancing muscles tuned up for all the Christmas parties!
